What are the costs?
Reverse Mortgage costs are the
same as those of a standard mortgage. They include escrow & title fees, appraisal
& credit report, loan origination & lender fees, as well as courier & termite
inspection. All of these costs can be included in your loan & a breakdown of costs
is provided to you.
Who owns my home?
You do! Nothing changes. You
retain title just as now and leave it to your heirs. The property continues to
appreciate while you continue to stay in your home until the remaining borrower
vacates or sells the property.
